Football Wins Regional Title; Awaits Eastbrook in Semi-State

Andrean dominated Lewis Cass 36-14 on both sides of the ball Friday night at Father Eckert Stadium despite sloppy field conditions. Three turnovers in the second half by the Kings sealed the game for the 59ers who will travel to Marion, IN next Friday to take on Eastbrook HS in the IHSAA 2A Semi-State game.

Andrean won 44-34 over Rensselaer Central Friday night to take home the sectional championship! Junior Ryan Walsh and the offensive line led the way with an impressive running attack. Football defeated Thea Bowman 41-0 at Gary West Side in the opening round of the sectional Friday Night. They advance and will Boone Grove High School, Friday November 1st at 7 PM at Andrean.

Jaylen Matthews has decided to continue his academic and athletic career at Trine University. Matthews was a 1st Team All-NCC performer for the 59ers his senior season.
