MERRILLVILLE - Andrean High School is proud to announce the hiring of Anthony Kendall as the school’s new boys varsity tennis coach. A Crown Point graduate, Kendall has a wealth of coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate level, having served as an assistant at Munster and Crown Point High Schools as well as collegiately at Prairie View State. “We are extremely excited to introduce Anthony Kendall as our new boys tennis coach,” Andrean Athletic Director Neil Dimos said. “Anthony’s enthusiasm for the game is evident and his coaching style will fit in perfectly with the direction in which we want to grow the program.” This will be the first chance for Kendall to put his own stamp on a program as a head coach, an opportunity that he is relishing. “I take a lot of pride in being a part of Andrean’s coaching staff,” Kendall said. “I know we have the potential to be a great program.” 59er Boys Tennis season begins on Monday August 18 as the Niners travel south on Broadway to face crosstown rival Merrillville.
