Boys Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball · Andrean Basketball Raises $8600 for Vs. Cancer Game

Andrean Girls and Boys Basketball joined together to raise funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s Vs. Cancer Initiative. Click here for the press release.

Both teams were incredibly successful by raising $8,651 to date which is tops in the country for Vs. Cancer teams! Half of the money raised goes directly to the PBTF for research and the other half will benefit Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

The girls and boys also hosted a PBTF All-Star from Crown Point who is currently battling brain cancer. He was able to lead our boys out on the court for warm ups and joined them on the bench for the game.

Thank you to our All-Star and his family for joining us and thank you to Vs. Cancer for helping organize this incredible event.

Andrean athletics is dedicated to making an impact in our community. To date, our student-athletes and coaches have raised over $18,000 for Vs. Cancer thanks to efforts from our football, baseball, and both of our basketball programs.
