Boys Varsity Wrestling · Dan Bedoy Hired as New Head Wrestling Coach


Andrean High School and Athletic Director Kelly Fitzgerald are both excited to announce that Dan Bedoy has been named our new Head Varsity Wrestling Coach. Coach Bedoy is a graduate of Purdue University where he was also a 2006 NCAA D1 National Qualifier for his weight class. He was also named Purdue’s Most Improved Wrestler that same year. Previous to his collegiate career, Coach Bedoy was an accomplished wrestler at Bishop Noll where he was a state runner up in 2002.

Coach Bedoy brings a wealth of coaching experience to the 59ers. He was most recently the Head Wrestling Coach at Calumet College of St. Joseph’s. Prior to his stint at CCSJ, he was the head wrestling coach at Griffith High School for three years. He also served as an assistant coach for Purdue University during the 2012-2013 season.
