Boys Varsity Football · Merrill Commits to Indiana University

Zack Merrill has chosen to continue his academic and athletic career at Indiana University. This past season, Zack led the 59ers to an NCC Conference Championship while receiving several accolades. He was named the Times of Northwest Indiana Offensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Area Offense in both the Post-Tribune and the Times as well as 1st Team All-NCC. He was a two-time recipient of the Centier Bank Performer of the Week and the Player of the Month for October in the Chicago Tribune.

Varsity Head Football Coach Chris Skinner said this of Zack. “Zack continually finds ways to improve his skill set. His four years at Andrean have been defined by a steady work habit. He never lacks motivation, which has driven him to continually strive for success. That strong desire for success won’t change at IU, and I think his arrow is still pointing up.”

Indiana University is located in Bloomington, IN and is a member of the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA Division 1. You can follow Zack, Cam Williams, and the Hoosiers here:
