Andrean students participated in a Formation Day on Tuesday, November 27 under the theme of “A Day of Giving, A Day of Serving.” As part of this desire to give back in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday and Season of Advent, Andrean students were challenged to take part in organized service projects on and off campus.

The following projects took place during our Formation Day:

·Ambassadors – Admissions and Development Initiatives 
·Art Club – Class Projects with St. Michael students
·Boys Basketball – Campus Clean Up
·Cheerleaders – Crafting blankets for children on Campus
·Football and Track – Campus Clean Up
·French Honor Society – On-Campus Service for Parish Christmas Projects
·Sophomore Class Officers – Habitat for Humanity in Merrillville
·Girls Soccer and Softball – Clarendale Senior Living Home in Schererville
·Spanish Honor Society – Francis Xavier Parish and Food Pantry in Lake Station
·Spell Bowl – Breast Cancer Awareness Activities on Campus
·Student Life Committee- Catholic Charities in East Chicago
·Volleyball (Varsity) – Ronald McDonald House in Oak Lawn
·Wrestling and Boys Golf – Campus Clean Up
·General Option – Longfellow Elementary School in Calumet Township
·General Option – Nazareth House in East Chicago
·General Option – NWI Food Bank in Merrillville
